Ambulatory Surgery (Outpatient Procedures)

As you arrive to any of the registration areas, just prior to the procedure you will be asked to sign a consent forms granting your doctor permission to perform the procedure which may or may not include sedation. For surgical and endoscopic procedures and once you are in the pre-operative holding area, a series of questions will be asked; following that an IV will be started. This process takes an average of 30 minutes or more. You will then go into the procedure room where monitors will be placed. We'll take great lengths to ensure that sedation is adequate and that discomfort during the procedure is minimal. In some instances an Anesthesiologist or CRNA may me involved in your care. Then the procedure starts.
